About Suzan Courtney
Suzan Courtney received a diploma in art and design from Kingston Upon Hull College of Art, UK and an MFA from the Yale School of Art where she was awarded The Susan Whedon Prize For Painting. She was selected to be in the Whitney Independent Study Program, The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Edward Albee Foundation. She has exhibited her paintings in New York, NY, New Orleans, LA, Savannah, GA, Paris, France and Hull, England. Her work is in the collection of the Gasperi Gallery, Galerie Gordon Pym Et Fils, INA Corporation, Ericson Gallery Collection, Mobile Museum of Art and the Sol LeWitt Collection. She has taught painting and drawing at Rutgers University, New York University, and the Rhode Island School of Design. Suzan Courtney lives and works in New York, NY.
